The countdown data you submit (event name, date, timezone, description, background and subdomain), an anonymous view counter for each page, and the content of abuse reports.
For spam protection we store a one-way SHA-256 hash of your IP address when you create a countdown or send a report. We never store your raw IP address in our database, and rate-limiting hashes from countdown creation are deleted within about 24 hours.
No accounts, no advertising, no tracking cookies, and we never sell or share your data with advertisers.
We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights — cookieless, privacy-friendly tools that give us aggregated page counts and performance metrics, not personal profiles.
The service runs on Vercel, and data is stored in a Neon PostgreSQL database, both located in the United States. They process data on our behalf as hosting providers. Abuse reports are additionally forwarded to our inbox through the email delivery service Resend.
Countdown pages are public: anyone with the link can see the event name, date and description you published. Don't include information you want to keep private.
You can edit or delete your countdown at any time using your private edit link. If you've lost the link, reach out through the report form and we'll help.
The service is not directed at children under 13.
